JDE assisted Oakland International Airport (OAK) by performing a comprehensive evaluation of their parking system. Our strategic recommendations led to a notable increase in parking occupancy within a few months, achieved through the efforts of the Parking Operator. Additionally, JDE conducted a parking system and technical feasibility study for a mixed-use development, addressing the parking needs for multifamily, retail, and theater spaces. Our analysis encompassed parking demand, city ordinances, and technological options, resulting in recommendations for implementing a paid parking program and advanced technology to optimize operations.
